In 2013, Ted co-founded FCTD with Brett Everett, setting out to originate mortgages for real estate investors. During this time, the company has grown from two founders to ten people originating nearly $500 million in loans annually. 

Ted originates bridge loans and long-term financing on rentals or primary residential loans for FCTD’s investor clients. He wears many hats at FCTD including writing all the content on the website, continuous automation projects, licensing, compliance, and more.

He currently holds broker licenses in California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Arizona, Utah, and Florida. When California-based lenders have an investor acquiring a one-off property in Oregon or Idaho, Ted often serves as the licensed Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) on the transaction, handling loan docs and compliance duties for the transaction.  

Ted lives in Bend, Oregon, where he enjoys skiing, running, cycling, and hiking with his dogs.
